There are some interesting accounts on how do the Finns view their country‘s role in WWII: a more personal one and a detailed review. By the way, at least every second discussion on Lithuania in 1939-1940 results in pondering on what Finland did then. And yes, the first reason I loved ‘Star Wreck’ was their treatment of certain political issues in a way no American or Russian movie ever would – a way which resonated with my personal mythology a lot. I expect their second film has a potential to be interesting for its region-specific point of view as well.

Siaip jeigu idomu tai is Suomijos parsiveziau knyga apie Ziemos kara. Ten du autoriai atrodo suomiu kilmes ir tokiu gal kiek patriotiniu stiliumi bet pakankamai idomiai ir detaliai viskas aprasyta.

Anglu kalba, zinoma :)

Kai atsiimsiu is zmogaus kuris dabar ja turi (ir piktybiskai neskaito :) ) galesiu paskolinti.
